You are not the Lone Ranger! We've been married for 10 years and have 4 children. even before marriage, my wife had a lot of inhibitions. She was extremely self-conscious about me seeing her vagina
during childbirth. The stress of daily life sometimes overwhelms her and leaves her feeling tired all the time, and she's always been prone to worrying too much.

Our youngest has just turned 2. Fortunately, the added responsibility of dealing with infants has dropped off noticeably, with an attendant increase in sex drive. While she apologizes for a general lack of libido,
I have noticed that she masturbates frequently at night. When I mentioned it recently, she denied it. Maybe she's asleep and dreaming, maybe she's feeling a little guilty for having been discovered.

Every now and then, she gets a "wild hair" and really gets aggressive sexually (horray!) but not often enough to suit me. I'm encouraged by the fact that things are improving, so I'm not pushing her too hard.

Take heart, things will probably get better once the stress of child rearing begins to level off.
