I grew up in Upstate New York, moving to Sante Fe when I was 14. The friends I had made in New Mexico introduced me to traveling. My first night in the Bay Area, I met a student of the Welcomed Consensus at a birthday party. We spoke at great length that evening and he invited me to a Benchmark the following Thursday.
