In the context of the thread in question, taking her over refers to her reaching the climactic stage of orgasm, which usually renders her clitoris untouchable due to it's dramatically increased sensitivity.

With respect to my releases, I usually like her to have at least one before I do, and we each will experience 2 or 3 each time we make love. Otherwise the timing and order is pretty much spontaneous. I will say that there is nothing that arouses me more than giving her an orgasm, so I usually have one shortly after each of hers.
