My personal preference is Astroglide although it dries out. I've not been impressed with the lubricants (K-Y etc.)advertised as "warming." The regular K-Y also tends to dry or become sticky but a fine mist of water reconstitutes the fluid constistency quickly.

Now back to the main topic and the focus of this board. My wife prefers astroglide for her DO also and we have tried other lubricants but we return to using astroglide. When we have intercourse after a DO I need to wash up or the astroglide irritates my skin. Petroleum jelly and K-Y are used by the WC for their stated reasons and we have tried both but personal preference and pleasure takes precedence.

If it feels good, DO it.
