The short answers are (1) both, but “level” better describes it; (2) indefinitely – as long as we both want; and (3) I take her over.

Regarding 1, it is like driving over gently rolling hills, with no net change in elevation. The ups and downs are highly pleasurable in and of themselves, regardless of where we might be going or when we might arrive there. I agree with your previous post that the pleasure is at least as enjoyable as what follows.

Regarding 2, physical fatigue (mine, so far) has been the only limiting factor. At that point I do things that I know will make her ask to be taken over.

Regarding 3, I always take her over when she asks for it. I have never brought her down without taking her over. That is how she wants it, so far.
