My wife and I "get together" a lot and have studied each other's responses, each in an effort to please the other. Something is starting to happen that is very gratifiying to me, and seems to represent a milestone in our connection.

Over the years I've learned to inch her ever so slowly toward a climax, using many smaller peaks, with a very slight and brief hesitation in between, and then holding her at the brink until her desire becomes so intense that I must take her over. Once she realizes that she is going to go over, she starts to laugh, and continues to do so for the duration of the fall and shortly after. She's always been very shy about expressing herself outwardly, and this gesture seems to indicate that she's really letting go.

I'm learning as I go, and suggestions or comments are welcome.
